Events

We run free in-person and online events each year for our members, these events come in the form of CPD workshops, discussion groups and socials.

We have two 1-day events every year in person in Dublin in April and September. Members get free entry to these Spring and Autumn events. In addition, TIATA holds four online meet-ups for 2 hours on the 2nd Sunday of Jan, Feb, May and June.

Non members are welcome to attend our events for a nominal fee.

  • October – 8th October 2023 – ONLINE – 11:00 to 13:00 – Colm Grogan – Educational Field: Workshop on Pete Shotton’s “I count, You count”
  • November AGM – Nov 12th 2023 – ONLINE – 11:00 to 13:00 – Open to Members ONLY

Notice Board
  • EATA held their General Assembly and Council Meetings in Dublin at the beginning of July. Jason Brennan & John Fleming welcomed our European colleagues to Ireland on behalf of TIATA.
  • An International Trainers meeting also took place in Dublin at the beginning of July. Jason Brennan welcomed the international trainers to Ireland on behalf of TIATA.
  • CTA & TSTA exams took place in Dublin following the trainer’s meeting. The first ever CTA and TSTA certifications were awarded to people on the Island of Ireland.
  • ITAA held a BOT meeting in Dublin following the exam. John Fleming welcomes the global board to Ireland on behalf of TIATA.
  • The executive committee following discussions with international colleagues in Dublin are pursuing EATA affiliation this year.
  • We have received several offers of support and help with growing the TA community here in Ireland from our international colleagues.
